About Me

Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, United States book Resort, 2025 Prices

While the craps table is my preferred habitat, I pull myself away to explore new attractions, shows, restaurants, cashman slot machine payouts and outdoor activities around Las Vegas with the intent of sharing my experiences. There are times one can be snagged for just a few bucks more than the cheapest options in Caesars Colosseum or Julius towers. Aside from restaurants, Caesars Palace also has a collection of lounges that are aesthetically impressive. My biggest knock against the Caesars dining scene is the lack of budget options. While I don’t really care about the shops that have 15 handbags on display, the additional dining options found within the mall are an asset for those who appreciate options. Connected to Caesars Palace are the Forum Shops, home to over 160 shopping outlets and restaurants. While I’ve said in the past that the hotel product at Caesars Palace is "trying" to be upmarket while falling short in some respects, the rest of the resort does a better job of living up to that label.
The ice cream parlor themed restaurant, which was a branch of the New York City Serendipity 3 establishment, opened in 2009. In addition to seating in the dining area and counter seating, there was a patio with views of the Strip and the Caesars Palace fountains. The major restaurant of the Augustus Tower is the Guy Savoy, namesake of the long-time Michelin-starred chef. When Savoy was approached to open a second restaurant in Vegas, he initially said no, until Caesars told him they wanted him to recreate what he had done in Paris. His request was that to maintain quality, the restaurant must be limited to service five days a week, to which the management agreed.
The Bellagio (with its famous, street-facing fountain shows) is to the south, and the Mirage (connected to Caesars by a free tram) is to the north. The Flamingo casino guest experiences and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant are directly across the broad street. Most Las Vegas visitors want to explore all of the big properties along the Strip. A generally less expensive option is the Deuce, a double-decker bus that runs up and down the strip 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There's also a monorail system, which stops at MGM Grand, Bally's/Paris, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrah's/The LINQ, the Las Vegas Convention Center, Westgate, and SLS. If you're traveling along the Strip with at least one other person, a cab is often the least expensive option. Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are available in Las Vegas as well.Virtually every hotel on the Las Vegas Strip is a 10- to 15-minute cab ride from McCarran International Airport. The grandeur starts from the entrance, where fountains, classic Roman sculptures, and well-manicured trees lead to the lobby, which has a striking sculpture at its center.
Central Michel Richard was a 24-hour restaurant situated in the hotel lobby from 2011 to 2014. In addition to a bar, it featured indoor and outdoor dining, with menu offerings varying by the time of day. Established in 2011, it cost US$4.5 million to build-out and measured 10,000 square feet (930 m2) in size. Todd Harrington, executive chef, was chosen by Michel Richard, himself a James Beard Foundation Award-winning chef, to run the kitchen.
